the tank its actually the same beige color with baby blue stitched thru it.. with the white cardi and mixed beige scarf+boots the ensemble is very cute in person!  mom and I tried to take multiple pics to show the get-up  clearly.. but to no avail .. * lol*

I would wear the cardi buttoned and possibly belted, might add a jean jacket over top as well :D

So.. the other night I finally decided to leave the cave and socialize.
I have been on a roller coaster of emotions as my dream progresses to reality.
So many amazing exciting and kind of intimidating opportunities have been waterfalling down on me and I found myself overwhelmed.. I can't help sometimes to slip into these little ruts where it seems like nothing I create is good enough. :( *sigh* but an artist is their own worst critic I'm told.

anyways..
I ended up spending the evening with some wonderfully positive people.
on our way to dinner I was notified that a song I had written and recorded a month back for a Japanese producer ( Hidetake Takayama of GOON trax http://www.facebook.com/goontrax) had been released to youtube and was ready for the world to hear. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd_Eudvf03Q )

 We quickly plugged in the iphone and turned that bish UP!

It had been a mad dash to the finish line with this song . I had re written it at least 10 times ( no exaggeration )
and had almost forgotten what my final lyrics had become.

as we drove.. I was overcome with emotion.. goosebumps.. lyrics blasted
 " and when they told me, that I'd never be.. all that I dreamed of baby I still believed.. nothing can break me.. or overtake me.. cuz I'm a DREAMER and baby dreams will come true when you believe.. and you'll see....

The night took us to a house party.. ( I didn't know those things still existed .)

For me, house parties  mean freestyle sessions.. beat boxing.. raps.. and singing.
<3 ahh..
That was how it all began....and this party took me right back.. I felt like I was 14 years old .. in a corner with the boys.. singing to beatbox after beatbox and free after free... begging for the night to go on and the music to never end.

The night was just what the doctor ordered. I even got to autograph a few arms (I felt badass) :p


I was later informed that one of the arms I had autographed was being preserved by plastic bags when it's owner showered.. I laughed and for sure thought he was kidding.... till three days later......
